Questions

What breaks first on a drift car?

The clutch, almost always, and it is the failure most likely to end your day rather than your season. Then fuel delivery, then axles, CVs and the differential mount, then cooling for the gearbox and the oil.

How much power can a stock drivetrain take?

It varies by chassis, which is why this tool asks which one you have. As a rule the clutch complains well before the axles do, and our rule engine starts warning at a 350 hp target - roughly where the grassroots field tops out.

What should I carry as a spare?

Whatever your chassis is known for breaking, which this tool lists. Universally: a spare axle or CV, belts, hoses, fluids, pads, a spare wheel and tire, fuses and relays, and the tools for jobs you have already done once.
