Why this exists
If you search for how to build a drift car you will find a lot of good writing. You will find ten-step guides, five-stage progressions, and thorough explanations of why a locked differential matters. What you will not find at the end of any of them is a number, a part, or anything you can put in a cart this month. One of the most comprehensive guides in the niche names almost no specific brands and gives no dollar figures at all, and its "evolution timeline" case study contains no timeline.
Meanwhile the tools that do produce parts lists either generate them - which means you cannot tell a real part number from a plausible one - or they filter a single store's catalogue, which means the recommendation is shaped by inventory. And none of them, as far as we can tell, budget for tires.
So: a curated catalogue with sourced prices and dates, an order with the reasoning attached, warnings that run against your actual build, and the running costs included. Free, because the plan is the point.
A founder note
This is built and run by one person. There is no team page, no customer logos and no testimonials on this site, because it launched recently and inventing social proof would undercut the only thing it is really selling, which is that the numbers on it are honest. When there are real users saying real things, that will go on the site with their names on it.
What there is instead: every source listed on the page where it is used, every price dated, every compatibility claim labelled with how much we actually know, and a plain statement of how the money works.
How the money works
Some parts links earn a commission. Parts with no affiliate programme are still in the catalogue with a plain link, because a plan with holes in it is worthless. No manufacturer or retailer can pay for placement. Paid subscriptions exist for people running a build over a season, and they add tracking and alerts rather than unlocking the plan.
What we will not do
Guarantee fitment. Publish an invented statistic. Recommend the part that pays best. Put a number on this site that we cannot show you the source for.
